I am from Seattle and grew up right here in Ballard and Greenwood. I have been working in the Early Childhood Field for over 30 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked in a variety of roles. Lead Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Early Achievers Coach, and Director. There is nothing I love more than seeing and helping children learn. I foster an environment that encourages community and friendship along with fun and learning. 

Jane Pendras-Verdon 

I am originally from Seattle and grew up in the Ballard Neighborhood.  My educational background includes a BA in Psychology, Certification in Early Childhood Education, and an MA in Counseling Psychology. I have over fourteen years’ experience working with children and families in a variety of roles, including over a decade of experience as a preschool teacher and background as an Instructional Assistant within Seattle Public Schools. I am registered as a Behavior Technician and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I have received multiple trainings through the years in education, psychology, and development. My approach to teaching is best described as relationally focused, play based, and emotionally grounded. My life’s work and passion are to provide support to children and their families.

I love volunteering here at Full STEAM Ahead. I enjoy spending time with the kids, playing games, creating beautiful art, reading books, working in the garden and just spending time with them.
